GSMS Community Support January – March 2019

Ventura County, CA – Each year, GSMS commits financial support and product donations to help make a difference in people’s lives, with a strong focus on supporting Veterans, Military Personnel and their families. During the first quarter of 2019, GSMS chose to support three outstanding, Ventura County organizations.

In January, GSMS donated to the Gold Coast Veterans Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting veterans and their families by providing access to a wide variety of programs and resources.  The services provided by the foundation are designed to make government assistance easier for the veteran population to access.  The organization is dedicated to improving the quality of life for veterans.

Our February donation was made to the Ventura County chapter of Anglers Anonymous of America.  This organization organizes fishing trips to help veterans and active duty service members suffering from PTSD.  Spending time on the ocean helps participants relax and connect with other people who have similar stories.

We ended the quarter by donating to Casa Pacifica, which provides assistance to children who have suffered from abuse or neglect.  The organization offers a wide range of services including shelter, medical support, clinical support, and educational services.  Their offices in Camarillo, Santa Barbara, and Santa Maria work with more than 2,100 children each year.

GSMS is happy to be able to support our community.  Contact us at [email protected] to submit proposals for funding or request volunteers for local events or organization that benefit veterans, military personnel and their families in Ventura County, California.
